Projects & applications
Five representative engagements. Customer names are withheld under our confidentiality commitments, but the technical problem, the specification decision and the outcome are described exactly as they happened — because that is the part that tells you whether we can handle your project.
Utility-scale ground-mount PV, Middle East
The challenge
Hot-dip galvanized ground-screw tie rods and HDG bolts for a desert site with high dust loading and 50 °C summer peaks. The client's original zinc-plated hardware had shown red rust inside 18 months.
What we did
Moved the tie rods and bolts to hot-dip galvanizing at 80 µm minimum, added a coating thickness report to every batch, and switched the clamp fasteners to A4 stainless to remove the galvanic couple.
Outcome
Corrosion-driven replacement eliminated; the coating specification is now written into the client's purchase specification for repeat orders.
Rooftop PV retrofit, Southeast Asia
The challenge
A distributor needed a clamp kit for a metal standing-seam roof where the roofing contractor refused any penetration.
What we did
Supplied non-penetrating standing-seam anchors matched to the panel profile, together with mid/end clamp sets packed in the correct ratio per module to remove on-site sorting.
Outcome
No roof penetrations, no waterproofing disputes, and repeat orders shipped as pre-configured kits with a fixed component ratio.
Structural steel fabricator, Eastern Europe
The challenge
The fabricator needed class 10.9 structural bolts with documented mechanical properties for an audited steelwork package.
What we did
Sample batch produced and tested to ISO 898-1, then full production with hardness, tensile, proof load and impact testing reported per heat number.
Outcome
Supplier approved after a factory audit; the customer now orders against a locked specification with change control on material source.
Machinery OEM, domestic and export
The challenge
A machine builder was losing assembly time to inconsistent socket screw tolerances and occasional mixed batches of black oxide and zinc plated parts.
What we did
Locked the dimensional specification to DIN 912 with go/no-go thread gauges, separated the coating lines in packing, and added a first-article inspection report to every production run.
Outcome
Assembly rejects reduced, and a single coating type per part number now ships in clearly marked packaging.
Water treatment plant, Africa
The challenge
Heavy pump bases on cracked concrete with very limited edge distance — standard wedge anchors could not develop the required capacity.
What we did
Specified mechanical undercut anchors approved for cracked concrete, plus a chemical anchoring system for the closest positions, with resin cure time tied to the on-site base temperature.
Outcome
Anchorage achieved within the available edge distance; installation crew trained on the undercut setting tool before delivery.
