Russia and CIS: EAC declarations and GOST-standard fasteners
The CIS market rewards suppliers who understand that the standard on the drawing is GOST, not DIN — and that the conformity route depends on what the fastener is used in, not only on the fastener itself.

Small differences that cause rejections
GOST bolts often specify accuracy class B with wider tolerances than DIN product grade A, some call for a split pin hole in the head, and head marking conventions differ. Produce to the exact GOST designation on the drawing — "equivalent to GOST" is not the same as "to GOST".
Conformity route
- General-purpose fasteners: supplied to the GOST designation with a quality certificate (certificate of conformity / declaration) from an accredited body in the EAEU, or as a voluntary GOST R certification where the buyer requires it.
- Fasteners forming part of machinery or equipment: conformity is normally evidenced under TR CU 010/2011 (machinery safety) for the equipment, with our fasteners included in the equipment documentation.
- Oil, gas and explosion-protected equipment: TR CU 012/2011 may apply. Confirm the applicable regulation with your certification body before ordering.
Applicability is decided by the end use declared at import. Send the destination country, the GOST designation and the equipment context, and we will state which route applies and which certificates we can supply through our accredited partners.

Frequently asked questions
Do you produce to GOST standards or only DIN?
Both. The tooling and processes are the same — what changes is the drawing, tolerance class, head marking and documentation. Send the GOST designation and we quote against it.
Who applies for the EAC declaration — you or the importer?
Where the fastener is supplied as part of equipment, the declaration is normally held by the equipment manufacturer or importer. We supply test reports, mill certificates and technical files so the applicant can complete the declaration; we can also arrange certification through accredited EAEU bodies where the buyer requires the fasteners to carry their own document.
Can you supply documentation in Russian?
Yes. Packing lists, quality certificates and technical data sheets are prepared in Russian on request at no extra cost.
