Certifications, standards and declarations
What we hold, what the factories hold, and what is simply not applicable to fasteners. Stated precisely, because vague certification claims are the fastest way to lose a technical buyer.
Correcting a claim you will see on most supplier websites
"CE available on request" is not a real position for common fasteners. CE marking for structural fasteners exists only within EN 15048 or EN 14399 scope, applies to complete bolting assemblies, and requires a Notified Body FPC certificate with a Declaration of Performance. Loose DIN 933 bolts have no CE route. Full explanation on the CE page.
What applies to our products
| Standard / scheme | Status | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| ISO 9001:2015 | Held by our partner factories; certificate copies supplied per order on request | Quality management system at the producing factory — a management system, not a product certification |
| EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate | Standard on every production order | Material and mechanical properties per heat, with the mill's independent inspection validation |
| EN 15048 / EN 14399 (CE, DoP) | Supplied through FPC-certified partner mills; DoP issued per project | Structural bolting assemblies for the EU/UK under CPR 305/2011 |
| RoHS 2011/65/EU | Substance declarations supplied against a named revision; trivalent (Cr3) passivation standard | Restricted substances in coatings and plastic components where the end product is in scope |
| REACH SVHC / Article 33 | Screening against the candidate-list revision you specify; SCIP data support | Substance communication along the supply chain |
| GOST / EAC | Production to GOST designations; declarations through accredited EAEU bodies where the buyer requires them | Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan |
| SASO / SABER (PCoC, SCoC) | Technical file and test reports prepared for your importer's SABER application | Saudi Arabia and GCC customs clearance |
| Third-party inspection | SGS, BV, TÜV, Intertek — appointed by you or by us at your instruction | Independent verification of quantity, dimensions, marking and packing before shipment |
| EN 1090-2 assemblies | Supplied via EN 14399 FPC-certified mills where the project is executed to EN 1090 | Structural steelwork execution classes EXC2 and above |
What we do not claim
- We do not hold a product CE certificate for loose fasteners, because no such certificate exists.
- We do not describe ISO 9001 as a product quality certificate.
- We do not present a third-party laboratory report as our own test result.
- We do not issue a certificate with a date or scope we cannot support with a valid underlying document.
Documents you can request
- Redacted sample MTC, dimensional inspection and coating reports — to clear the formats with your QC department before ordering
- Partner factory ISO 9001 certificate copies, provided with the quotation for the specific factory concerned
- FPC certificate numbers and DoP for structural bolting assemblies, per project
- Substance declarations (RoHS / REACH / SVHC) against your named revision
- Third-party inspection certificates once produced
