YITORCH — fastener and solar mounting hardware supplier from China

Fastener supply to Russia and the CIS

Russia and the CIS have their own dimensional standards, their own certification regime and a climate that punishes the wrong steel. Supplying this market well means working to GOST, not to DIN with a substituted certificate.

Work to GOST, not to a DIN substitution

Russian and CIS specifications frequently reference GOST standards rather than DIN or ISO. Bolts and nuts that are dimensionally close are not necessarily interchangeable, and a consultant checking the delivery will check against the specified standard.

Common GOST equivalents
GOST standardProductClosest DIN / ISO
GOST 7798-70Hex bolt with hexagon head, normal accuracyDIN 933 / ISO 4017
GOST 7805-70High-strength hex boltDIN 6914 (structural)
GOST 5915-70Hex nut, normal accuracyDIN 934 / ISO 4032
GOST 11371-78Plain washerDIN 125
GOST 6402-70Spring washerDIN 127
GOST 9066-75Threaded studDIN 976

Where a project specifies GOST, we produce to GOST dimensions and mark the parts accordingly. Where the customer's own drawing allows DIN or ISO, we will say so — but we will not quietly substitute one for the other.

Cold climate is a materials question

Specifying for low-temperature service
Service temperatureRequirementWhat to specify
Down to -20 °CStandard grades usually adequateClass 8.8 with documented impact testing
-20 °C to -40 °CImpact toughness becomes governingLow-temperature grade with Charpy impact tested at the service temperature
Below -40 °CStandard carbon and low-alloy classes unsuitable without qualificationSpecify the impact energy requirement explicitly, and consider austenitic stainless or a qualified low-temperature steel
Do not assume class 10.9 is the answer. Increased strength and low-temperature toughness do not move together. A higher property class with poor impact toughness can be more brittle in cold service than a lower class with verified impact energy. State the minimum impact energy and the test temperature.

Certification and logistics

EAC certification

Products in scope of the applicable EAEU technical regulations require EAC certification or a customs declaration, and parts must carry the EAC mark. Fasteners commonly fall in scope depending on the application. Tell us the end use so the correct route is identified before production, not after.

Routing and settlement

Sea freight via St Petersburg or Novorossiysk, rail freight through Kazakhstan for Central Asia and Siberia, or Vladivostok for the Far East. Settlement in CNY or RUB through channels agreed with you; we will discuss what works with your bank before the order.

A note on search and sourcing behaviour. Buyers in Russia and the CIS search primarily through Yandex rather than Google. If this market is a priority, the site should be registered in Yandex.Webmaster with a Russian-language version and a Russian sitemap — a Google-only strategy will reach only part of the audience.

Frequently asked questions

Do you produce to GOST standards?

Yes. Send the GOST number or your drawing and we produce and mark to that standard, with the dimensional inspection report written against the GOST requirement rather than an ISO equivalent.

Can you supply low-temperature tested bolts?

Yes. Specify the minimum impact energy and the test temperature and we will supply with Charpy impact test results at that temperature, reported per heat number.

How are payments handled?

Settlement in CNY, RUB or USD through channels agreed with your bank. We will confirm what is workable on both sides before the first order rather than assuming.

Which ports do you ship to?

St Petersburg and Novorossiysk by sea, Kazakhstan and Central Asia by rail, and Vladivostok for the Far East. Provide the destination city and we will recommend the routing and transit time.

Ready to source quality hardware from China?

Tell us the destination port at inquiry stage — we will list the conformity documents and the coating specification your shipment needs before you order.
