YITORCH — fastener and solar mounting hardware supplier from China

Fastener supply to Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia is one of the largest construction and solar markets in the region, and one of the most demanding on documentation. Getting the conformity paperwork right is usually a bigger risk to a delivery programme than the lead time itself.

Conformity: SASO and the SABER platform

Saudi Arabia requires imported goods in scope of a Saudi technical regulation to carry a Certificate of Conformity issued through the SABER platform. In practice this means two documents, obtained in sequence:

1. Product Certificate of Conformity (PC)

Registered per product and per exporter of record, and valid for one year. Registering your product portfolio once, properly, means subsequent shipments are a matter of pulling the existing record rather than starting again.

2. Shipment Certificate of Conformity (SC)

Raised per consignment against the PC, with the invoice and packing list. This is what the customs broker presents at the port; without it the container does not clear.

Practical advice: tell us the destination at inquiry stage. We will confirm which parts fall in scope, which need testing before the PC can be raised, and factor the extra lead time into the schedule — rather than discovering it two weeks before the vessel sails.

Sea freight is quoted FOB, CIF or DDP. For first shipments, DDP is often the simpler commercial choice because it removes the customs leg from your side while the conformity paperwork is still unfamiliar.

Frequently asked questions

Do you handle SASO / SABER documentation?

We prepare the technical file — product specification, test data, mill certificates, drawings — that the conformity body needs to raise the Product Certificate of Conformity, and coordinate with the agency. Registration is held by the importer of record, so the PC is raised in your name or your agent's.

What coating should I specify for Saudi Arabia?

Hot-dip galvanizing at 80 µm minimum for structural and outdoor items, and A4 (316) stainless for small fasteners, clamps and coastal installations. Zinc plating alone is not adequate for outdoor desert or coastal exposure over a 20-year design life.

Can you supply Arabic labelling?

Yes, as an OEM packing option: Arabic and English carton labels showing part number, quantity, heat number and coating.

What is the MOQ for a first shipment to Saudi Arabia?

MOQ is flexible and trial quantities are accepted. Many buyers place a mixed trial order across several part numbers to verify quality and clearance before committing to container volumes.

Ready to source quality hardware from China?

Tell us the destination port at inquiry stage — we will list the conformity documents and the coating specification your shipment needs before you order.
